Welcome to the Domaine de Cambelong

The story started in 1999 when we fell under the spell of this former chestnut and walnut flour mill with the village of Conques at its door, nestled in a veritable verdant oasis overlooking the river Dourdou.
Over the years we have renovated it to create a place of authenticity and comfort. A friendly and welcoming atmosphere has always been our priority, which is why we decided to keep our accommodation to just 9 rooms with seating for 25 people in our restaurant.

The same atmosphere reigns in our restaurant, where the large windows give guests the impression of dining in the middle of nature. The contemporary decor fits in perfectly with the charming old schist stone.
Once the good weather arrives, enjoy lunch or dinner while soaking up the sun on our terrace Passionate about my products and nature, I want to share my love of plants with you through my dishes. I am faithful to Perigord cuisine without neglecting the classics such as foie gras and truffle, which take pride of place on the menu.

You will feel completely at home, with 4 star comfort and Michelin-starred, Gault Millau 3 toque restaurant service.

Conques Abbey is a major monument in the architectural heritage on Saint James' Way. Its centuries-old vaults proudly house an unmatched treasure of Roman sculptures (a Last Judgement tympanum, historiated capitals) that glorify the stained-glass windows of Pierre Solages.

This abbey is the only one of its kind in all of Europe. It is a treasure from the year 1000, with several gold and silver reliquaries coated with enamel work, cameos and precious stones that have miraculously withstood the trials of history. Some of the most ancient and beautiful masterpieces of the Middle Ages are found here.

The hotel's rooms were completely renovated this winter, in the style of Pierre Soulages. The Domaine of Cambelong has two floors of rooms, without elevator, in a former mill blending contemporary comfort and authenticity

- 8 bedrooms between 20 and 30 m² that can host 2 to 3 guests
King size bed, bathroom with shower and bathtub*, flat screen TV, air conditioning, direct telephone line, free WIFI

- 1 suite approximately 40 m² that can host 2 to 4 guests
 including a bedroom and sitting room with sofa bed, flat screen TV, air conditioning, direct telephone line, free WIFI, shower room and private toilet.

*In the room for handicapped persons, there is only a shower available.

A relaxation space, billiard room and spa are at your disposal.

The pool is open from 15 June to 15 September.
