Conques Abbey is a major monument in the architectural heritage on Saint James' Way. Its centuries-old vaults proudly house an unmatched treasure of Roman sculptures (a Last Judgement tympanum, historiated capitals) that glorify the stained-glass windows of Pierre Solages.

This abbey is the only one of its kind in all of Europe. It is a treasure from the year 1000, with several gold and silver reliquaries coated with enamel work, cameos and precious stones that have miraculously withstood the trials of history. Some of the most ancient and beautiful masterpieces of the Middle Ages are found here.

The hotel's rooms were completely renovated this winter, in the style of Pierre Soulages. The Domaine of Cambelong has two floors of rooms, without elevator, in a former mill blending contemporary comfort and authenticity.
